My name is Heidi Guimond. I received my bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness in 2016 and earned a holistic health coaching certification through The Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in 2018 while living in Maine. I started a Health Coaching Practice while attending IIN, but had so much going on in my personal life, it was hard to get a new business going in the way I wanted to.

I moved to Florida in 2021 and took some time off from health coaching to help my daughter start up a non-profit. Unfortunately, her health took a turn for the worse, and she passed away in March of 2022. I completely turned away from health coaching and even my own health for a few years after that. I needed time to process and grieve after losing a second daughter to Cystic Fibrosis.

I recently had a health scare of my own and was very sick for nearly a month. I was so weak and exhausted that I could barely function. I couldn't eat anything, couldn't work out, it was awful, and I was scared.... then it went away! I feel much better now, but I lost nearly 20 pounds in that one month! At my age, without working out, that is not necessarily a good thing. My muscle tone is gone, my stamina is way down, and now I have saggy, crepy skin! So now is the time to get myself back on track and start helping others again while I am at it! I have some big plans and great things to share.

One of those things is that I have published a book! The Power of Healing Your Inner Child. It has only been published for a short time and is already getting great reviews! I am so excited. I also created a companion workbook for the book, so readers can turn the exercises, prompts, and visualizations into actionable steps!
